Well it is official…. I am sick. I have a chest cold and I feel awful. My husband has ordered me to bed for rest but I wanted to tell you first in case I can’t post for the next few days. I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest with a blow torch because my lungs are burning. Nice visual huh!. “What! yes honey I’m getting off the computer now. I just wanted to finish this note.” Well I better go, Nurse Ratchet is calling. ” Yes, I’m on my way dear. Yes I took the NyQuil, no I don’t have a fever. I do not have a fever, I don’t care if I’m warm. I have raised 4 kids, I’m a MOM if I had a fever I would know it. Fine get the thermometer.” Hey I just noticed the word “mom” is in thermometer, cool. “What! yes I’m walking up the stairs now (shh).” Oh lord here he comes with the thermometer. “Yes honey, finishing up now for real.” Better humor him and I do need to lay down but I. do. not. have. a. fever. 98.6 Yea! told you so. I still have the mommy skills. See you in a day or two if I can escape.

This sounds bad. Have you seen a doctor? The burning and tightness is not a good thing. And no offense, but your sickness can cloud even a trained mommy brain like yours… Please take care and let us know how you are doing?

It really is just a chest cold and I should be better in a few days. I will see a doctor if it gets worse, promise.
