It’s Been One Of Those Days….

sickI’m alive and not so well, in fact I feel like crap on a stick. I am going to try and see my doctor today because I think it’s a sinus infection or some exotic disease that makes your head explode…oh joy! Maybe something interesting will happen, like the doctor having a funny name that I can blog about. The silver lining….. a good blogging story. I’ll let you know tomorrow.

Saw the doctor and nothing unusual occurred. His name was not funny and he was just a regular doctor, really irked me that there was no blogging material. But what are you going to do. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection, the double whammy. So I have started taking the magic pills and I should be back to my old acerbic but brilliantly witty self in no time or so I’m told. I have a post that I wrote and planned to use today but I will post it later in the week, otherwise it will just be updates for now.

It’s A Quickie….

It is very late at night (3:15 am) and Nurse Ratchet is sleeping so I am giving you an update and I am catching up on my blog reading. I found out I can read your blogs on my cell phone which is pretty cool but I can’t leave a comment which isn’t cool. That’s why I had to sneak downstairs and use the computer. What kind of bloggy friend would I be if I didn’t leave a comment. Thank you for all your well wishes and get well soon thoughts, they meant a lot. Well I’m tired for now and I will try to sneak back on tomorrow night. Shhhhh!

It’s Official….

Well it is official…. I am sick. I have a chest cold and I feel awful. My husband has ordered me to bed for rest but I wanted to tell you first in case I can’t post for the next few days. I feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest with a blow torch because my lungs are burning. Nice visual huh!. “What! yes honey I’m getting off the computer now. I just wanted to finish this note.” Well I better go, Nurse Ratchet is calling. ” Yes, I’m on my way dear. Yes I took the NyQuil, no I don’t have a fever. I do not have a fever, I don’t care if I’m warm. I have raised 4 kids, I’m a MOM if I had a fever I would know it. Fine get the thermometer.” Hey I just noticed the word “mom” is in thermometer, cool. “What! yes I’m walking up the stairs now (shh).” Oh lord here he comes with the thermometer. “Yes honey, finishing up now for real.” Better humor him and I do need to lay down but I. do. not. have. a. fever. 98.6 Yea! told you so. I still have the mommy skills. See you in a day or two if I can escape.
