I had a rude awakening this morning. You see the tree in the picture above, well there use to be three of them. They were roughly 40 years old and this morning they suffered a horrible fate. The trees were undermining the yard and the house so the owners had them cut down. Can you imagine the noise of chain saws and wood chippers, what a cacophony of sound. I took a little movie on my cell phone so you could hear the noise but I couldn’t get it to upload, sorry. It was a good one too. Just as I started filming, the guy climbing on top of the dismantled tree below, the cute one looking all sweaty and tanned reached down and stripped his shirt off. It was like in the Coke commercial. A tall drink of water as my Mother would say. Am I a bad person that I wasn’t bothered by the noise so much anymore and had this goofy grin on my face. Not a bad way to start the day after all.
