This weekend 2 of my daughters and their husbands are cleaning my house. At first this was not okay with me because I am use to doing everything myself. Now I realize that I can’t do it all myself anymore and the only reason to turn down help would be my pride and that is not a good enough reason as far as I’m concerned. So I decided to suck it up and let them do it. They are steam cleaning everything and the floors have never been shinier. It still feels strange but with the diabetes and the neuropathy I have limitations, I don’t like it but that’s the way it is. They are doing such a good job and soon everything will be squeaky clean. I can’t say thank you enough to them for giving their time and their sweat. It’s a big job because when you can’t do something yourself you tend to stop seeing the dirt after awhile. There is still a lot to do like painting and they will come here as often as they can to help so I am going to have to find a special way to pay them back someday. I tell you I have raised darn good kids and they married keepers that’s for sure. I will have to tell you at another time some of the funniest things we found in the strangest of places.
That is fantastic. And I’m guessing that you won’t need to find a special way to pay them back. I’d do it for my mom in a heartbeat (if she let me) and would feel good about being able to do something for her. Maybe this is their way of thanking you.
A stroke of brilliance ck. I had not thought of it that way. I guess I will have to return those tickets to Hawaii. lol
It took a lot of convincing…but, I am so glad to show my appreciation for what a great Mom I have. (and yes, my beautiful husband IS a keeper…He is happy to help his meshpucha! Thank you!
Love,

You have a great bunch of kids. I remember hating letting people do things for me that I used to be to do when I was pregnant. That just sucks. If the guilt starts getting to you, you can always cook them a good meal. :-)
I hope my kids grow up to love me as much as yours clearly love you!
And I can’t wait to hear what you found. With photos, if you please!
And I like the template! I tried your advice with the 3 column but my words still bled… I think because my “base” template is a “stretch”? Who knows… it’s one reason why I chose the clouds… I could write tight over top of them!!
“I am going to have to find a special way to pay them back someday.”
Maybe they are paying you back for a great job raising them? Angry, bitter children do not do this for their parents.
