K started school this week too. She is in 8th grade this year and starts high school next year. Boy that will be a scary post for me to write. I am so proud of both her and B although I may be biased, just a little bit. Have a good year K and enjoy being top dog in jr high because next year it all changes. I can hardly believe she is already 13.

She looks so much more clueful than I did at that age. My first day of school photo has me in a polyester green and white check pantsuit that my mother, bless her heart, had made me because I WANTED IT. Then it was onto the bike, where, along with my violin and glasses, I rode the two miles to school.
She’s beautiful! And she looks so mature. Have a great year!
