Last Friday and Saturday my granddaughter K was a principal player in a local production of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” She was, you guessed it……….a cow. She had a lot of lines to learn in a very short time (4 days) of course they were all moo. She skipped and mooed with enthusiasm and bounded with energy all over the stage. She was the best Milky White I ever saw and I had seen this play before. It was a children’s workshop by the “Missoula Children’s Theatre.” The entire cast is between 6 and 17 years of age. The kids had a really good time both on the stage and off. There were 3 performances and each one was funny and well received. The little 6 year olds were the magic jumping beans and they were so cute all lined up on stage, in green wearing sombreros. B says he wants to do it next year when he is 6. The Missoula Children’s Theatre is all over the U. S. and if you have one in your area I highly recommend you encourage your kids to do it.
Holy Cow! K as Milky White the cow.
Moo! Moo! Moooo? MOO!
These kids are only about 12 to 17.
The Magic “Mexican” Jumping Beans. They were so cute!
And there it is. That 10,000 watt smile of pure joy.
Don’t forget I am using pink backgrounds all this week to remind you to get your mammogram.
