I was browsing through old photos and found this one. I started to think about how innocent we are when we start out in this world. Life is fully ahead of us with no reason to look back or have regrets, unlike now when looking back seems to be the primary direction of our thoughts and we’ve collected regrets along the way like trading cards. What do you think is going through her mind? Certainly not “I’m going to get married at 18, become a housewife, have 4 kids and someday write this kick ass blog” or maybe it was. Who is it……. it’s me.
UPDATE:
I have been asked to show a current picture by ck and gibby, so here is one that is not too Dorian Grey. The first thing I noticed was that I still have the double chin, thanks for that guys.
Love the pic, you look so happy!
You should take a pic of you making the same face and see if it tells your story…
I was going to say the same thing as Gibby.
What a great photo!
Gibby and ck, I actually thought of that but since I can’t remove my teeth (yet) it wouldn’t be the same toothless grin now would it.
Okay, you win I will post a current picture that I don’t hate.
LOL you all are funny commentors!
Great post. Cute pic. Some palmistry info for you, when I’ve read kids their palms are like blank slates. They can do anything, be any one. They don’t lean to one skill set or mind set; they have all those doors wide open. It’s pretty amazing.
Life is certainly an adventure to end up where we are right at this moment.
I don’t know if I would call it my goal.
Wonder how much we would be smiling in those baby pics if we knew how bumpy life can be.
Awww! Both pics are adorable!
You’re beautiful!
yes, the innocence of childhood is a beautiful thing.
Happy belated birthday to your son – he looks like a really cool guy – the sort my boys want to become!! And your photos…..you still have the same smile!!!! lovely!
YAY! That is a great pic! I don’t see any double chins, but I do see two happy faces! Thanks for posting!
It was a beautiful day and I love that color on you!
